Volunteers are a critical part of the Alvey PTO's success and we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community! We have a busy year planned with activities like bingo nights, spirit days, holiday events, staff appreciation celebrations, and so much more! We need you to make it all happen! Each event requires a different level of volunteer involvement. Most events will have a sign up genius form that we will link to in all of our communications about the events. A PTO member is a parent or guardian of a student enrolled at Alvey Elementary School who has chosen to participate in the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting the school and enhancing the educational experience for all students. Membership costs $40 and does not require any volunteer support. Sign up for the 2026-2027 school year today! We welcome as much or as little support as your family can provide.

I am over the moon to be serving on the PTO board this year. I have a daughter who is in fourth grade this year. I look forward to supporting our Sunray teachers, staff and students.As the previous Treasurer, I have served on the PTO Board for four years. I have two boys (6th and 4th grades), and have loved getting to know our amazing Alvey community. I am looking forward to another fun and successful school year!

Hello! My name is Jee and I am the proud mom to Hannah who will be going into 2nd grade. I am honored to serve as Treasurer for the PTO managing the organization’s finances, helping ensure responsible budgeting, and supporting fundraising efforts that benefit students, teachers, and school programs. I am committed to transparency, collaboration, and making a positive impact on the school community. I look forward to working with everyone this year to help create enriching opportunities for all students.

Hi, I'm Meg, mom to Sofia, who is in 5th grade. I'm excited to serve as a PTO Member-at-Large and help support the students, staff, and families that make our school community so special.
