Make a different every time you shop! Download the Box Tops app, select J.W. Alvey and complete your profile. Scan all your receipts in the app. Tap on Give Credit to select your child's classroom teacher. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit Alvey PTO's earnings online. Download the app.
We have many different spirit days/nights planned at businesses throughout the area that have agreed to donate a percentage of the proceeds on the spirit day back to Alvey PTO. View our calendar to find all the spirit nights that we have planned.

Every dollar counts! As a token of our appreciation for your donation, you will receive a PTO punch card which can be used at any of our events throughout the year to redeem specific food items. You can donate directly through our secure online platform here.

Volunteers are a critical part of the Alvey PTO's success and we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community! We have a busy year planned with activities like bingo nights, spirit days, holiday events, staff appreciation celebrations, and so much more! We need you to make it all happen! Each event requires a different level of volunteer involvement. Most events will have a sign up genius form that we will link to in all of our communications about the events. Absolutely. We rely on corporate sponsorships. In return, we showcase your business' logo throughout the year in various places such as social media, all in-person events, billboard in the lobby of the school, and so much more. Become a corporate sponsor here.
A PTO member is a parent or guardian of a student enrolled at Alvey Elementary School who has chosen to participate in the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting the school and enhancing the educational experience for all students. Membership costs $25 and does not require any volunteer support. We welcome as much or as little support as your family can provide.

As the previous Treasurer, I have served on the PTO Board for three years. I have two boys (5th and 3rd grades), and have loved getting to know our amazing Alvey community. I am looking forward to another fun and successful school year!
Vice President: Becky Perez
I am so excited to serve my second year on the PTO board. Last year, I served as Member at Large. I have two kids at Alvey (3rd & 1st grade) and a 3 year old who will be running the halls soon enough. I am also a teacher at Battlefield High School. I look forward to supporting our amazing teachers/staff and hosting fun events for our Sunray community this year!

I am over the moon to be serving on the PTO board this year. I have a daughter who is in third grade this year. I look forward to supporting our Sunray teachers, staff and students.

I have four children my youngest is a rising second grader at Alvey. Most days you can find me in the halls of Alvey Elementary, either subbing or volunteering. I’m excited to be a member of the PTO board this year, helping to provide students and their families with a fun and memorable school year.

As a proud mom of a 1st and 3rd grader at Alvey, I am excited to be able to contribute to the continued success of this wonderful school and community. I’m looking forward to a super fun and fantastic school year!
